Join Ruff'N It on Saturday, September 1st, for a "Drop the Anchor and Bring the Cannoli" Raft Up on Hudson Creek off the Little Choptank.  Ruff'N It and hosts Candy and Ed will host an Italian food themed raft up on Hudson Creek in the large anchorage just north of Hudson Creek day beacon 2 (Approximately 38 degrees 32.787N 76 degrees 14.843W.)  BYOB and your favorite antipasto for the happy hour beginning at 5PM.  RSVP to Ruff'N It at svruffnit@gmail.com   

Then, it is off to Solomons Island for a wine tasting and testing a Zahnhiser's Marina followed by a pot luck dinner.

Sunday, September 2nd, will be a land or sea event.  HSA1 will be gathering at Zahniser's (245 C Street, Solomon's, MD) hosted by Melanna.  Hosted by Barb and Jeff, join us for a happy hour featuring a wine tasting and testing contest.  Bring your favorite bottle of wine and an accompanying appetizer.  Prizes will be awarded.  Afterwards, the grills will be ready and we will enjoy a bring your own picnic.  Bring your own main dish and a side or dessert to share.  RSVP to sailingbarb11@gmail.com 

To reserve a Zahnhiser slip, call 410-326-2166 or reserve one on Dockwa using Zahniser in the search box.  Slips may fill up fast for the holiday, so please act quickly.  Picking up a Zahniser’s mooring (First come, first served) or anchoring out beyond the mooring field is an option, as well as any of the other marinas in Solomon's.  Unless I had a dinghy, I would avoid Calvert Marina due to its distance from the event.  The marinas in the Solomons area are shown in the map below.
